The Cranfield Impact Centre (CIC) has successfully transitioned their Quality Management System (QMS) to ISO 9001:2015
The drop tower facility at Cranfield Impact Centre (CIC) was successfully used in a project with McLaren Applied Technologies to assess the load carrying capability of a chest protector. By using specialised instrumentation such as load cells and potentiometers, an assessment could be made on prototypes.
The Cranfield Impact Centre (CIC) has successfully transitioned their Quality Management System (QMS) to ISO 9001:2015. CIC took this opportunity to not simply ‘tick the box’ but to give their QMS a complete overhaul. The new system builds on the existing foundations to map out their operational processes and identify the associated risks and opportunities.
CIC are one of the few test houses in the world to have obtained certification to ISO 9001:2015 setting them apart from their competition and ensuring Quality is truly ingrained in everything they do.
The implementation of the new Quality Management System was supported by AvISO Consultancy, a Platinum Approved Consultancy by the British Standards Institute.
